Now whilst at work, I have a lot of spare time on my hands, so I was working on a second Sophie’s Universe CAL. But tonight, I forgot the blanket and remembered everything else! So I searched for another pattern to amuse myself through the dark hours of boredom and found this cute mermaid pattern.
The two colours I used were Purple(Hayfield Bonus DK) and Granary (Cygnet Aran Tweed).
In the pattern I’ve swapped the 3mm hook for a 4mm and the 2.5mm for 3.5mm, just because these were the ones I had on me.
I haven’t added any eyes, as personally, I feel it would ruin it. But that’s just a preference and I’m not making it for a child who may be weirded out by missing eyes, nose and mouth!
